villanova is known for its academic excellence,
personal attention from faculty and staff, strong sense of
community, dedication to service, and unique and lasting
Augustinian values.
On my own Villanova path, I have traveled from student to
professor to president. One of the things I miss most since
becoming president is daily classroom interaction with
students. That’s why I take every opportunity I can to sit
down with students and get their feedback on what makes
Villanova, Villanova.
This senior class of 2010 has a special place in my heart,
because it is the class with which I began my presidency. As I
have grown in my job, I have watched them also evolve, from
apprehensive freshmen to self-assured seniors. Three years
later, it seemed an especially fitting time to sit down with a
group of seniors and one graduate student, representing each
of our Colleges, to get their take on their Villanova experience.
