forgiveness at its annual one-day conference, which includes Frederic Luskin, Ph.D.,
of the Stanford Forgiveness Project and

National Committee for Amish Religious
Freedom and spokesperson for the Nickel
Mines Amish Community.
; October 31: Led by senior Frances Koons’
second-place finish, the women’s cross
country team captures the Big East
Championship.
; The Campaign for Villanova Law raises
$22 million for the new Law School building.

travels to Ireland to meet the new president

Special Olympics Fall Festival at Villanova is
held on campus. The Fall Festival is the
largest annual student-run Special
Olympics event in the world.
; November 17: Gerald M. Lemole, M.D. ’58
Endowed Chair in Integrative Biology is
established with a $1 million gift to support
the career of a talented biology professor,
advance the College of Liberal Arts and
Sciences, and enhance the education of
Villanova biology students.
; December 6: Villanovans attend the gala
celebration of Part-Time Studies’ 90th
anniversary.

library search software developed by
